Fabrics
of different construction and/or fibre composition, have different
response characteristics and may require individual calibration data.
STREAT Moisture Meters are able to hold up to 99 calibration sets to
easily accommodate these differences. At the change of fabric type, the
appropriate calibration set is called into use. The systems are
supplied with full instructions that allow the user to derive new
calibration sets (if required) as the product range alters.
Streat
Instruments Ltd has successful industrial experience in the measurement
of both natural and man made fibre types, e.g. wool and wool synthetic
blends, cotton and cotton synthetic blends, viscose, nylon and acrylic.
These fibre types can also be measured in various forms during processing, i.e. loose fibre, sliver and yarn as well as fabric.
