In such cases, the control system is usually provided by the manufacturer of the irrigation system.

The AQUAFLEX sensor is connected to the controller and provides an output signal that is compatible with your system.

The AQUAFLEX sensor is powered directly from the irrigation control system.

For some applications we can provide a set-point controller to operate the system, though usually this exists within the irrigation system's control panel.

AQUAFLEX Sensor (Part # SI.99)

The AQUAFLEX Sensor (Part # SI.99) has multiple outputs:

  • 4 to 20mA, two separate outputs for soil moisture and soil temperature. For connection to irrigation controllers, telemetry systems etc.
  • Frequency, for connection to pulse inputs e.g. a flow meter input in an irrigation controller (only soil moisture can be accessed from this sensor output).

Alternative signals such as 0 to 5V can be supplied, if required.

AQUAFLEX Irrigation Threshold Switch

AQUAFLEX Irrigation Threshold Switch (Part # SI.97)

The AQUAFLEX Irrigation Threshold Switch is used to enable or disable irrigation at an adjustable soil moisture level.

It is commonly used wired into an irrigation controller’s rain stop switch to disable irrigation if the soil moisture is above a certain value.

The interface is housed in a small industrial module suitable for mounting in a controller cabinet etc.
